It’s officially August, y’all! Love Island USA is over, school is getting ready to start again, and there’s no telling how much longer we’ll be living in this heat.

I’m celebrating three years of Type C Creative this month, which is really exciting and kind of hard to believe! I’ve got some fun things to share with you before the month ends — stay tuned!

What do you think about silent traveling? I’m considering doing a silent retreat for my birthday this year but part of me thinks I would lose my mind.

I’d love to test the waters by taking silent walks 2-3x/week. Going for my daily walk without the comfort/distraction of music or podcast. Where can you embrace a little bit of silence this month?

I finally caved and purchased a set of Loops. I’m pretty sensitive to noise, especially when I’m working, and I don’t always want to use my noise-cancelling headphones. These are a pretty solid solution to avoid overstimulation and distractions, both at home and in public — especially at my coworking space and the grocery store. I got the Engage 2 Plus pair.

I haven’t been keeping up with newsletters much recently but I did read How to Solve Your Own Murder in two sittings after waiting 10 weeks for it to be available on Libby. 10/10 recommend!
